BNP4556L is a window winder handle retainer clip that fits on the front door window winder shaft to secure the handle to the regulator spindle. It holds the winder handle in correct engagement with the regulator so the window can be operated manually without the handle sliding off. A worn or damaged clip will allow the handle to become loose or detach from the spindle and should be replaced to restore secure operation.
